Are you craving renewal? Jesus welcomes you to experience a renewal greater than anything Spring can offer!

Have you ever felt powerless? I have, and it’s a horrible feeling. I’m used to being able typically to figure out the challenges that come my way. Sometimes, though, nothing seems to work. As we walk together through 2 Corinthians, we’re going to see what true power really looks like. We’re going to see in various ways that God’s power is made perfect in our weakness, and we’re going to see why Paul would say “when I am weak, then I am strong.”

Approval From God | 2 Corinthians 10:1–19
Monday Mar 23, 2026
Monday Mar 23, 2026
Everyone is seeking approval. This weekend, one of the greatest weekends of the year, 64-teams are searching for the approval of their fan bases, the arena fans, and ultimately the watching world. They are seeking to have their One Shining Moment, and see their names etched in glory. While we love the tournament, and love doing things that God has given to us, our approval isn’t in what we are doing or from the applause of men. Our approval only happens from God. God approves us, by His Son, for His glory. In today’s message, we will examine 2 Corinthians 10, and see that God approved His people, by His Son, for His global glory.

This Sunday, guest speaker Jeff Crabtree will be teaching from 2 Corinthians 7:2–16 as we continue our journey through Second Corinthians. In this passage, we see the power of repentance, reconciliation, and restored joy. God often does His deepest work in our weakest and most uncomfortable moments. Join us as we discover how honest repentance leads to real freedom—and how God’s strength shows up right in the middle of our vulnerability.

Reconciled to Reconcile | 2 Corinthians 5:11–21
Monday Feb 16, 2026
Monday Feb 16, 2026
Why do you exist? Why did God save you? Why did God save you from your sin? Why are you a part of the faith family at First Baptist Church? Why are you here? In our message today, the Apostle Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 5 that we have been reconciled to reconcile. We have a purpose in this life, and it is to proclaim the life-transforming gospel of the Lord Jesus from our neighborhoods to the nations. We are God's Plan A to take the good news that God wants to reconcile people to Himself through His Son.
No matter who you are or what you've done, God has a plan for your life. And that plan is to know Him, and ultimately to make Him known. Join with us today as we see that we are reconciled to reconcile.
